Announcement of Amanda's Law to take effect February 22, 2010 [ 80 KB ] This is the announcement from the State of New York about the requirement of Amanda's law wwherein it legislates that all buildings are to have a carbon monoxide detector installed on the lowest story having a sleeping area. This law takes effect February 22nd, 2010.
